Tottenham Hotspurs are showing their interest in signing the attacker from the Wolverhampton Wanderers Adama Traore during this summer transfer window.

Adama Traore is yet to respond on his future with Bruno Lage’s side till 2023. But there are speculations that he might leave Wolves this summer.

The likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Leeds United and West Ham United are showing their interest in signing a deal with the Spanish international despite having a very bad campaign in the last term of the English Premier League [2020-21].

According to the Daily Mail, Wolves former boss Nuno Espirito Santo is planning to unite with Traore at Tottenham Hotspurs. Midlands are ready to sell the Spanish attacker.

The report claims that Lage’s side has not received any formal approaches from interested parties for Traore’s transfer. Wolves are demanding a fee of £45 million to part ways with Traore despite his contract situation.

Adama Traore has made only one appearance in the European Championship that too through substitution. He has scored three goals and three assists in his 41 appearances in all competitions under Nuno Espirito Santo’s last season for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Will Adama Traore be able to make it up to Tottenham Hotspurs or not?

Traore has impressed Spurs in the past when his club was outclassed by the Lilywhites. He scored a brilliant goal against them in December  2019.

Meanwhile, Tottenham are also trying to sign a £43 million deal with Atlanta’s center back Cristian Romero.

The 23-year-old can join Spurs this week. Although, he might not be the first and last defender that the club is looking to sign this summer.

As Davinson Sanchez is leaving for Sevilla, Tottenham can pounce to sign Japanese star Takehiro Tomiyasu.

However, Spurs were in talks with Bologna for the 22-year-old many weeks ago, but it has been delayed due to the defender’s participation in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

So far Tottenham have signed Pierluigi Gollini and Bryan Gil this summer. Erik Lamela, Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose, Paulo Gazzaniga and Juan Foyth are leaving the club this summer.

In addition to Sanchez, the players who can leave the North London club are Moussa Sissoko, Joe Hart and Serge Aurier among others.
