Tottenham and Arsenal face off on Saturday in the North London derby and the winner goes to the top of the league table

Arsenal are on top of the League with six wins in the last seven matches. Tottenham are close behind in third place with just a point separating the two clubs. Arsenal have won six of their matches with just one defeat whereas Tottenham is unbeaten in their seven matches so far. Saturday’s match will determine who will go to the top of the league table in the eighth week of the Premier League. Both Arsenal and Tottenham have reinforced their squads considerably. Tottenham manager Antonio Conte is aware of the quality of the Arsenal squad and is cautiously optimistic about Tottenham’s chances to win the match.

Speaking to the reporters ahead of the clash with Arsenal, Tottenham manager Antonio Conte said:

“For sure, Arsenal have had a fantastic start. They lost only one game against Manchester United. They are showing to be a really good team. I think in the summer they made good signings for them and improved a team that, don’t forget, they were four points up on us with three games left last season. It means that we (Tottenham) are talking about a really good team, and last season we did a really good job to overcome them in the last three games.”

Tottenham have won four and drawn two of their matches in the Premier League. Moreover, they bounced back magnificently from their defeat in the Champions League against Sporting. Spurs beat Leicester 6-3 thanks to a brilliant hattrick in 13 minutes by Son Heung Min. No matter what the outcome will be, it is going to be an extremely entertaining match.
