Tymal Mills replaces injured Reece Topley in England’s T20 World Cup squad

The exciting t20 world cup is on the way and every team is preparing its best to showcase good sports. Injury in such circumstances causes hindrance to team success. A similar incident happened with the English side. Fast bowler Reece Topley is injured and had to go back to England for treatment. Tymal Mills is set to replace him in the t20 world cup squad.

Tymal Mills inclusion on Reece Topley Injury

Reece Topley injured his ankle in a practice drill before the warm-up match against Pakistan. Initially, it looked recoverable but later it worsen and lead to ligament damage. He will fly back for surgery and rehab. His service will be missed as he is the leading wicket-taker for England in t20i in 2022.

Topley’s statement:

Mills is tried and tested fast bowler for England. Recent performances has earned him this call. He averages 15 and bowls with an economy of 8. He is the perfect replacement for him amongst the pool of players available.
