Manchester United are eyeing a move for Turkish international Kadioglu but Fenerbache want to keep a hold of their talented defender.
Why do United want Kadioglu?
Recently Turkey have experienced one of the best campaigns in Euro 2024. Young Turkish talents like Arda Guller, Kadioglu, Yildiz lifted the hopes of Turkey. Kadioglu played an important part for the Turkish backline.
In the 2023-2024 season, both Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia missed most of the games due to major injury issues. So, Manchester United struggled in the left back position. Erik Ten Hag didn’t have any left back in the entire squad.
Sir Jim Ratcliff and INEOS group was searching a talented left back. Then Euro came and Kadioglu caught everyone’s attention. At that moment Manchester United decided to go for him.
Possibility of the transfer
At this moment Fenerbache have appointed Jose Mourinho as their new head coach. The Portuguese manager know the ability of Kadioglu. So, he doesn’t want to sell the player.
According to Express , Fenerbache have put a price tag of £33m on the left back. It seems that the Turkish giants can play hard ball in the negotiations.
This transfer is difficult for Manchester United but Sir Jim Ratcliff and INEOS group will try their best to bring Kadioglu at Old Trafford. This transfer window has been a successful one for United because they have signed talented players like Joshua Zirkzee, Lenny Yoro.
It is being said that De light is also on the way to Manchester United. When they were chasing Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite, Red Devils made a bid of £45m to sign him. Unfortunately, Everton rejected the bid but United never loose hope for signing a defender.
Instead of Branthwaite, they have bought young defender Lenny Yoro. He will replace Raphael Varane as the latter has left Red Devils to join Italian side Como.
Future of Manchester United
This time Erik Ten Hag is building a different team. The owners are buying those players whom they need the most. They can penetrate any backline with the combination of Jadon Sancho, Joshua Zirkzee, Alejandro Garnacho. These three players are extremely talented. If they play together, the trio can trouble any opponent.
The fans are excited to see the new Manchester United at the Theatre of Dreams. They believe that United can challenge for the 2024-2025 Premier League title. It will be interesting to see how Ten Hag utilizes all of his players.
If Manchester United can pull of the signing of Kadioglu for the left back position, their summer transfer their squad will be complete. At least they will have a back up for that position.
