India are in a dire position after the end of Day 4 of the 5th Test.

They are very close to conceding their historic win to England who are now holding the upper hand.

India’s batting coach, Vikram Rathour called the team’s batting very ordinary as India piled up a score of just 245 in their second innings.

He said that the batters got starts but couldn’t convert them into big shots.

Rathour further added that the batter’s shots were not good enough.

England used the short-ball tactic against India because of which all the Indian batters got out cheaply without giving any resistance.

Rathour said that India needed someone in the second innings to make a big score as well as have a big partnership to give England a bigger target to chase.

Although England have never chased down a target as big as 378, still the presence of Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow can make them see it through.

They need only 119 runs to win while India needs to get 7 wickets to seal the historic win.

The game has been rather topsy turvy, with England and India dominating each other.

Right now, England have the upper hand, but if India manages to get one or two wickets, then the game becomes open once again.
