Arsenal may shift their focus from buying Benjamin Sesko to Viktor Gyokeres instead.
The Gunners need a good striker:
The Gunners have a great team at the moment. However, their team is missing a striker who will score a lot of goals for them too. Arsenal have been very great lately. However, their dependency on set piece tactics have led them to mostly lose games or draw them. They ended the Everton match on a goalless draw as well. This have been the problem since the previous few matches mainly. Their two goals in the victory against Manchester United came from set pieces. Arsenal needs to change this.
Arsenal may sign Viktor Gyokeres:
To change this and score more goals from open plays, they need a good striker. A good striker who can score 20 + goals. Kai Havertz have not really been good at all for the Gunners. He have not been scoring too many goals either. They really need a player who can actually score a lot more goals and push Arsenal forward to winning the Premier League. In the last summer transfer window, they wanted to sign Benjamin Sesko. However, he rejected Arsenal and signed a new contract with RB Leizpig again. Arsenal are still said to be interested in signing Benjamin Sesko but they have a backup plan if he rejects them again. Arsenal may sign Viktor Gyokeres because he will leave Sporting at 2025. The Swedish International is looking for a bigger club and a bigger challenge as well.
Author’s opinion:
I think Viktor Gyokeres is a really great striker. He will be able to score a lot of goals in Arsenal as well. However, according to a lot of reports, Arsenal may put a halt in his signing as well because of his speed.
Viktor Gyokeres have scored 69 goals in 74 games for Sporting CP. This is the striker than Arsenal needs to finally win a major trophy again. He will be perfect for them in the front line and will score a lot of goals for them to push Arsenal forward and win the Premier League.
