Arsenal Set Their Sights On Viktor Gyökeres

The Gunners seem to be in the lead to capture Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyökeres. A deal between Gyökeres and Arsenal is apparently getting closer before the summer transfer market opens.

Arsenal are so desperate for a player profile like Viktor Gyökeres. A robust, skilled No. 9 who can score goals in critical situations and regularly convert his chances. He is the type of striker Arsenal have been lacking in recent years. Gabriel Jesus is technically sound. However, he has not given Arsenal the ruthless edge they need to consistently compete for big honours. That can be changed by Viktor Gyökeres.

Gyökeres’ physicality, hold-up play, and ability to press from the front are all noteworthy. This is in addition to his lethal finishing.

In today’s inflated market, Gyökeres is totally worth between £58 and £60 million, especially when compared to less experienced stars. If they can get this trade done fast, Arsenal will have a player who can surely lead the team to new heights.
