Gunner fans are going to be shocked by the news. Sporting’s rising superstar Viktor Gyokeres has been a vision by the London club.
Even after a magnificent humble win over the Portuguese squad, Viktor still seems uninterested in joining Mikel Arteta’s side.
The Champions League match against Sporting boosted Arteta’s side. The 5-1 has been a blessing to Arsenal in the European run.
However, Arsenal have other problems. With forwards like Kai Havertz, they don’t need to think too hard about Gyokeres.
The 26-year-old is now rumored to reunite with his former manager Ruben Amorim at Man United.
The celebration of Gabriel might have affected Gyokeres emotionally. Instead, he wants to go to a club who have a history.
No offense to Arsenal, but under Amorim, he has already scored 66 goals in 68 appearances.
Despite the rumors murmuring, Viktor has not been so serious about the transfers. He claimed that those were rumors. Right now, Gyokeres wants to finish the season at Sporting. Time will tell if anything happens.
However, Arsenal has a backup plan. Another Swedish is also in the vision of Mikel Arteta. They are keeping an eye on Newcastle’s Alexander Isak who can remain under St James’ Park until 2028.

But, most importantly Manchester United has the rumoured lead in this latest transfer. The saga of Man United and Gyokeres can almost be evitable if Amorim can shape up the squad.
This Swedish is already a made-up discovery by Amorim. United currently needs this type of striker. Since, 2023, the Swedish boy has been the eye of the future star for a long time.
United already have been through a lot. They have to need almost everything to improve their game. Players, coaches, mentality, every single thing is dependent on the future aspect.
Now that Amorim as a good head coach of United, he can finally shape up whatever he has in mind.

Two teenage prodigies are Geovany Quenda and Pedro Goncalves who can be on the scouting list. They were seen by the United scouts during their Champions League face-off against Arsenal.
This trio has the perfect chance to reunite. It has been confirmed that even Manchester City spotters were there for scouting.
Eventually, City can also bid a rival bid for Gyokeres next summer. United, still not making a move on the Sporting talents till now.
