With the help of his giant knock, India posted a massive target of 213 on board. Afghanistan was crushed under pressure and perished quickly. Bhuvneshwar Kumar redeemed himself and clicked a fifer. India ends the tournament on a high note.

A century after the long wait of 1020 days

Virat has 276 runs in 5 matches. That makes him the top run scorer of the tournament. The man had 11 centuries in 2017 and has now hit this century after a break of over 1000 days. His last ton came in the year 2019. His return to form is crucial from the team’s perspective. They badly needed their best batter to be his true self for the upcoming T20 World Cup that is scheduled in just a few weeks.
