Here is a look at the weight of each F1 driver present on the grid in 2023. The 2023 F1 season will start in Bahrain on 5th March 2023.

Formula 1 is a highly competitive sport. Here, even minute details like the weight and height of a driver matter a lot. The weight can be a reason for the car going a tenth faster per lap.

The engineers have to make certain adjustments according to the weight of the driver driving the car. This factor regulates the ballast of the car which is important for perfect weight distribution in an F1 car.

As expected, drivers’ weight also needs regulation as mandated by the FIA to support the sport’s minimum requirement of weight. FIA keeps a close eye on the weight of the drivers.

Let’s take a look at the drivers’ weight after their heights.

Who are the heaviest and lightest drivers on the 2023 F1 grid?

The tallest drivers on the grid are also the heaviest. Alex Albon, Nico Hulkenberg, Max Verstappen, and Lewis Hamilton are all above 70 kg in weight. Esteban Ocon is the tallest driver on the grid. However, the Frenchman is relatably light with a weight of 68 kg.
