While Players are coming in, some might leave the Chelsea camp

Chelsea already signed seven new players in this summer transfer window, including Tosin Adarabioyo, Omari Kellyman, Renato Veiga, Caleb Willey, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Estevao, and Marc Guiu. The Blues already spent close to 150M in this transfer window. Now two more players are on the verge of playing the blues including FiliP Jorgensen from Villarreal and Aaron Anselmino from Boca Juniors. While new players are coming in the Chelsea squad few players might leave Chelsea, and one such name is English International Conor Gallagher.

Will Conor Gallagher leave Chelsea this summer?

Recently, the Blues signed former Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca as their new manager for the upcoming season, followed by the departure of Mauricio Pochettino. Maresca already signed former Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall this summer. Kiernan already played under Enzo Maresca and had an outstanding last season with the promotion side Leicester City. So, new signing Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is likely to get more playing time under the new manager. That creates questions about the future of Conor Gallagher with Chelsea.

Conor Gallagher made his senior team debut with Chelsea in the 2022/23 season. Before that the 24-year-old completed four loan spells with Charlton, Swansea, West Brom, and Crystal Palace, after graduating from Chelsea Academy. last season the 24-year-old was a key player under the manager of Mauricio Pochettino for Chelsea, making 50 appearances across all competitions, needed 7 goals, and bagged 9 assists. His brilliant performance at the club level kept him on the England squad for the Euro 2024.

However, under new manager Enzo Maresca, things changed already. Maresca already brought high-profile midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester, who is likely to get the first-team preference in the upcoming season. Chelsea are also planning to sell Conor Gallagher this summer. Many big European clubs are interested in signing the English internationals. Such as Atletico Madrid and Tottenham. Chelsea are also linked with former Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot for a possible move. Rabiot is available right now for free.

Tottenham are interested to get Conor Gallagher

Tottenham are trying to strengthen the squad depth under the manager of Ange Postecoglu. Spurs only signed one player this summer, Archie Gray from Leeds for the right-back position. Though the team has good players like James Maddison, Bentancur and Pepe Sarr, still the club wants to improve the squad. Perre-Emile Hojbjerg left Spurs for a loan spell with French side Marseille this summer. That created a gap in the midfielder zone. Conor Gallagher will be a perfect player for Spurs as he is a versatile player, and could play as an attacking midfielder, center midfielder, and defensive midfielder position as well. But they have to compete with the Spanish side Atletico Madrid to sign him. The Spanish side is also very interested in signing the 24-year-old English midfielder.

However, no official offer made for Conor Gallagher of Chelsea right now. The 24-year-old will explore all the possible options next month as Gallagher right now is on holiday. And Chelsea are not totally focused on a new high-profile striker. Victor Osimhen is under the radar of the Blues.
