India won the first T20I in style against the West Indies by 68 runs. India had posted a huge total of 190/6 at Tarouba which became impossible for the West Indies to chase down. As a result, they ended their innings at just 122/8. India would now like to repeat the same feat today at Basseterre to go 2-0 up in the 5-match series.
West Indies, on the other hand, were not up to the mark in the 1st T20I. They will now try to put up a great performance in the 2nd T20I today. They have the likes of great players but just need to click together at the right time. Today’s match will be a thriller to watch.
All of India’s players are in top-notch form and the future of Indian cricket is in great hands right now. Even the experienced players are doing it absolutely fine for India at the moment. The likes of Dinesh Karthik, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and others have proved in the previous match and series so far.
So, today we can expect a lot of firecrackers to go from either side and this will be a top contest between the two sides.
We can expect a low-scoring game at Warner Park today. Back in 2019, West Indies registered their lowest-ever total in the T20Is which was 45 all out. The weather conditions would be clear for today’s match so both teams can expect to put up a good fight.
WI vs IND, 2nd T20I Probable Playing XI:
India would most probably not make any changes to their side today. They will be playing the same XI for today’s game also. Usually, India does not make any changes to their side unless it’s a forced one. Only after winning the series do other players get a chance.
Predicted Playing XI:
Rohit Sharma (c), Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant (wk), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Dinesh Karthik, R Ashwin, Ravi Bishnoi/Harshal Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh
The hosts on the other hand will be making some changes because their previous combination didn’t click. But, they also will most probably keep the same playing XI for today’s match. They would like to level the series also.
Predicted Playing XI:
Kyle Mayers, Brandon King, Nicholas Pooran (c & wk), Jason Holder, Rovman Powell, Shimron Hetmyer, Romario Shepherd, Akeal Hossein, Keemo Paul/Hayden Walsh Jr, Alzarri Joseph, Obed McCoy

India are the sure winners of this competition. But, as the ground is a low-scoring venue so India would have to make a pretty huge and defendable target if they win the toss and choose to bat first. West Indies would also have to do the same if they win the toss today.
