With Rohit ruled out, Bumrah will now lead the Indian team for the final Test against England

India will be having a new captain tomorrow in the form of Jasprit Bumrah.

Rohit Sharma returned a positive RAT test which means he will not be able to play.

KL Rahul has also undergone a successful right groin surgery in Germany which has now ruled him out of cricket for 2 months.

Bumrah has now become the first captain after Kapil Dev to lead the Indian team in Tests.

BCCI and the team management knew that Sharma would not be able to make it for the 5th Test but still watched and waited for better news.

India is leading the Test series 2-1 after 4 Tests against England.

Now with both openers out of the foray, India needs to seal in on an opening pair as well.

They may go in with Shubhman Gill and Mayank Agarwal who was recently slotted into the Indian squad.

BCCI have named Rishabh Pant as the vice-captain of Bumrah.

Cheteshwar Pujara also stands a great chance of returning to the Test fold after brilliant performances in county cricket.
