With the Premier League clubs looking to close the deal before January.

Matheus Cunha have gained interest from both Wolves and Aston Villa

Reports suggest both Aston Villa and Wolves are interested in signing Matheus Cunha. The reports suggest that both clubs have approached the player and his representatives. They both are hoping to make a January transfer for Cunha. Matheus Cunha could join the Wolves this transfer window. Wolves manager Lopetegui addressed the Cunha rumors,

“We have several open options and he is one of them. In football, until you close the operations, they are all up in the air.”

Cunha is said to be excited to play under Lopetegui but there is a big doubt as to whether they will meet Atletico’s demands. News outlet The Athletic have claimed,

“It is now uncertain if Wolves will meet Atletico’s financial demands and that not only casts doubt on their pursuit but also gives encouragement to others competing for his signature.”
