Wolves have got a good start in the transfer market

Wolverhampton Wanderers have already completed the signings of two players, giving the fans hope and excitement for the future. The club recently signed a permanent contract with the Manchester City loanee, Tommy Doyle. Moreover, they added the Braga winger, Rodrigo Gomes to their squad. The 20-year-old’s ability of playing in different positions could be a big advantage for the Old Gold.

Wolves are looking to strengthen their attack in the upcoming transfer window. The club’s success in this summer’s transfer market has begun. The Old Gold will try to add suitable candidates to their squad while keeping their valuable players as well. However, Wolves could also lose two of the key players from their squad.

Two star players could walk out the Molineux this summer

Pedro Neto is one player who could exit this summer. The Portuguese winger’s season was hindered due to injuries that kept him out for weeks. Neto faced two hamstring injuries, leaving him with an upsetting season. Despite this, the 24-year-old managed to score 2 goals and provide 9 assists in 20 Premier League appearances. The Portuguese international is gaining interest from Newcastle United and Manchester City.

If either of the clubs make a suitable offer for him, he could be on his way out. Additionally, another player who is linked with a move away from the Molineux is Pablo Sarabia. The 32-year-old’s contract is set to expire in 2025, which could leave him as a free agent if he is not sold this summer. However, his high wages could make it difficult for Wolves to sell him.

What did the Wolves manager say about Neto’s future?

Although reports state that the Portuguese forward will leave the Molineux this summer, there is still a chance of him staying back. Neto had a pretty good season despite the injuries and is gaining interest from top clubs. Moreover, his sale will help Wolves revamp their squad. However, the Wolves manager, Gary O’Neil said that they will only release the player if they get a suitable deal.

Gary O’Neil said,

“Pedro’s really happy at the club and, if nothing happens for him in the summer and there’s no big offers or big clubs coming in for him, he’s more than committed to cracking on and showing everyone how good he is next season in a Wolves shirt.”

The Wolves boss also added that despite his high value and profile, the player is still focused on being as good as he can be.

Wolves could sign Arsenal’s winger on a long-term replacement for Sarabia

The Old gold are in search of a player to better their attack. One potential winger Wolves can sign is Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson. The 24-year-old has been unable to make it to Arsenal’s starting squad with Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard or Martinelli taking those spots. Therefore, the player might fancy moving to other clubs for game time. Nelson’s pace and ability to take on one-on-one’s could be helpful to Wolves’ attack. Additionally, it will be a beneficial deal for the player if Sarabia leaves this summer. Nelson could get guaranteed game time if Wolves’ are able to sell the Spaniard.
