World cup winner may leave Man City this summer

World cup winner Julian Alvarez may leave Manchester City this summer even after amazing season. Manchester City win the Premier League again this season. Arsenal and Mikel Arteta tried to give Pep Guardiola a fight but fell short in the end for second time. Man City sealed their dominance in the English football after completing the quadruple. Some fans blame Pep Guardiola to make the football boring and Premier League is now farmers league. Even after all these allegations we all know the wonderful work done by Pep Guardiola for the club. Pep Guardiola transformed many players from the club into all time greats. First when he joined the clubs he did wonders with players like David Silva, Sergio Aguero, Vincent Kompany. These players are all now club legends with their statues in front of Etihad. Pep did more good transfer business with the club.

Under Pep Guardiola, Man City signed many players like Kyle Walker, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernado Silva, Erling Haaland. All these players have turned out to be world class players. A big credit for this development goes to Pep Guardiola who turned these players into absolute beast. He also developed many young players into great players like Phil Foden, Jeremy Doku, Julian Alvarez. Pep Guardiola is often criticized for being a system manager where players have very less room to show their creativity. However from the past season we can see this is not true. Man City have consistently been the team to score the most goals in the league. They also produce top scorers like Erling Haaland. After winning the treble recently Man City were aiming to win consecutive trebles. However their party was spoiled by Real Madrid in the Champions League quater-finals and Manchester United in FA final.

Julian Alvarez had an extraordinary start to his life in English football. In his first season for Man City he ended up winning the historic treble with the club. It was also the first time Manchester City got a taste of Champions League glory. While Julian Alvarez spend most of his time on bench or as a backup for Erling Haaland. The Argentinian attacker still managed to rack up a good amount of game time with a considerable goals and assists. He also managed to win the trust of Pep Guardiola by his off ball pressing and great work ethic. Julian Alvarez proved to be a valuable asset the very next season after Man City’s star midfielder Kevin De Bruyne got an injury. The Belgian midfielder ended up missing alot of games but Alvarez gave impressive performances to fill this hole.

Julian Alvarez gave some impressive performances when De Bruyne was absent. He also stepped up when Erling Haaland lost his goal scoring form. Alvarez joined Man City from River Plate where he won everything with the Argentinian club. However despite being such an important player at the Etihad there are still chances of him leaving this summer. According to the information of Argentine journalist Hernán Castillo, it is now ‘very likely’ that Julián Alvarez will leave Premier League champions Manchester City. Clubs like Atletico Madrid are interested in the world cup winner but as of now there is nothing confirmed yet. Clubs like Bayern Munich, Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid are also interested in the treble winner. Although Manchester City still consider Alvarez as an important player they will let him go if the right offer comes forward. Man City are expecting £80 million fee for the player.
