Zimbabwe and Bangladesh will be locking horns tomorrow at the Harare Sports Club for a T20I series. The hosts have beaten Papua New Guinea for the T20 World Cup qualifier and so are prepped and ready for the marquee event. Zimbabwe also thrashed the Netherlands in the final qualifier match. So, no doubt the hosts look pretty pumped up to take on Bangladesh.
The visitors on the other hand are coming into this series after a loss of 2-1 against the West Indies. They have also not picked Shakib al Hasan and Mahmudullah for this tour. Nurul Hasan will be leading the side in the absence of Mahmudullah.
The hosts have a good chance to beat the visitors as they are in their home conditions. Zimbabwe would not miss an opportunity tomorrow to beat Bangladesh on their home turf. Bangladesh on the other hand will have to play really well to ensure that they win tomorrow’s fixture to start the series on a high.
If we look at Harare Sports Club’s pitch for tomorrow’s game, then it looks a pretty balanced one for both batters and bowlers, especially for T20 games. While pacers will get good help from the pitch at the start of the game, batsmen will play a dominant role during the middle overs. A score of 155 is good enough and the teams who have won the toss here have also gone on to win the match. So, toss will be a crucial factor for both teams tomorrow.
ZIM vs BAN, 1st T20I Probable Playing XI:
