Harmanpreet Kaur to play for Melbourne Renegades again in WBBL 08

Harmanpreet Kaur has decided to rejoin hands with the Melbourne Renegades for the next season of the Women’s Big Bash League.

In WBBL 07, Kaur was the most prolific player for the Renegades and even won the Player of the Tournament.

Her highlight of the season was her 73* of 46 against the Adelaide Strikers.

Kaur also smashed 18 sixes in the previous season of the tournament.

However, the Renegades lost to the Adelaide Strikers in the ‘Challenger’ stage of the tournament.

Harmanpreet in an interview said that she wants to contribute more to the team’s win.

She also added that they would like to be in the finals of the tournament once again.

Kaur also took 15 wickets in the tournament which was the highest in WBBL 07.

Additionally, she was also the leading run-scorer, amassing 406 runs.

For India, Harmanpreet has played 246 games in all three formats combined.

She has scored 2411 runs having an average of 27.08 and has scalped 31 wickets in T20Is.
