Liverpool are prepared to let one of their star defenders, Ibrahima Konate leave in the January Transfer Window at the moment.

Liverpool are said to be going to let go off their star defender. Ibrahima Konate have not been performing good right now for Liverpool. They have been pretty bad this season too. Their defence have been horrendous as well. Not just Ibrahima Konate, even Virgil Van Dijk have been bad for Liverpool as well. After all the controversies in the team too, their performances have become worse for Liverpool as well.

Liverpool have a great team of course. However, even after spending so much in the summer transfer window, they are not really upto the mark at all. Every single one of their players were performing horrendously. In the recent matches however, they won. It is seen that they are maybe slowly starting to build their consistency. If they keep their consistency like this then they will be able to reach the top yet again. However, it is less of a chance for Liverpool to do that of course.
Reports suggests that Konate is going to leave Liverpool of course. Liverpool are said to be going to accept £15 million for Konate. He used to be one of the top defenders of Liverpool. However, after the recent performances, the Dutch manager of Liverpool is not really impressed at all. This is the reason why it is said that Konate is going to leave Liverpool.
Author’s Opinion:
I think Ibrahima Konate should leave. However, I think Virgil Van Dijk should also leave with him as well. He is not consistent nowadays of course. Liverpool needs players who are consistent right now.
