Tottenham Hotspurs player ratings

Hugo Lloris 6/10

He made a very good save to deny Che Adams early on. He could not do anything to stop the three goals Spurs conceded.

Sergio Reguilon 7/10

Had a decent game, should have scored the chance early on. Always looked an outlet down the Tottenham left.

Davinson Sanchez 4/10

He looked shaky for the whole game. Should have cleaned the ball way before for the Saints first goal.

Cristian Romero 6/10

His goal was ruled out due to offside. But no doubt Spurs’ best defender on the night.

Ben Davies 4/10

At fault for the Southampton first goal. Very poor performance overall.

Emerson Royal 3/10

Really struggled down the right flank. Got seriously exposed down the right channel and offered no output in the attack.

Harry Winks 5/10

Really struggled in the first half. But looked way better after Bentancur’s introduction in the middle of the park.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg 5/10

Crossed the ball for Jan Bednarek’s own goal. But really struggled in the middle of the park and was substituted in the second half.

Lucas Moura 7/10

Had some good touches on the ball and set up the Son goal to put Spurs in front.

Heung-min Son 7/10

Nealy got in to tap in the first goal but did grab a goal later on in the match.

Harry Kane 6/10

Made some excellent passes from a deeper position. But should have scored with that header in the second half.
