Brighton & Hove Albion suffers huge injury blow ahead of Arsenal clash as winger Solly March limped off late in the game.

Winger Solly March suffered a hamstring injury in the 5:1 defeat to Everton on Monday. Manager Roberto De Zerbi is enduring tough time with injuries in the squad.

Brighton had a day to forget but it helped Everton move out of relegation zone with a crucial three points. In the second-half, Seagulls lost winger March to injury and it looked like a hamstring issue in the final quarter of the game.

March has scored seven goals and provided seven assists in the Premier League this season. Reports suggests that he may be out for rest of the season.

After the game, Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi suggested that March is unlikely to be fit to face Arsenal on Sunday. He said :-

“I don’t know. We are enduring a very tough time with injuries but I don’t want to speak about this. Solly didn’t play in the first XI because of a problem.”

Brighton are seventh in the Premier League and hoping to secure European spot for the first time. Seagulls are currently without Joel Veltman (hamstring), Jakub Moder (ACL), Adam Lallana (hamstring), Tariq Lamptey (knee), and Jeremy Sarmiento (metatarsal). However, Pascal Gross and Evan Ferguson are back after recovering from injury.

De Zerbi’s team would like to end the season on a high note and as they face some big teams in last few weeks.
