Manchester United manager Eric Ten Hag is a huge fan of Liverpool’s new signing Ryan Gravenberch as he backed the midfielder to become one of the modern greats.

Reds have been very busy in the transfer market, making plenty of signings and departures this summer. Saudi clubs took away some of their big stars such as Roberto Firmino, Jordan Henderson and Fabinho.

Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai and Wataru Endo joined the Mersyside club this summer. Meanwhile, Dutch midfielder Ryan Gravenberch is now on the brink of joining the club.

Liverpool agreed a deal for a transfer fee of £38.5 million including add-ons for the 21-year-old. As per reports, Gravenberch have landed on UK and will undergo his medical procedure today.

However, Daily Mail claims that Liverpool will announce Gravenberch’s signing today. The Dutchman is quite versatile at middle of the park as he ticks lot of boxes for Reds this summer.

His former boss Eric Ten Hag once stated that Gravenberch has huge potentiality to become a star in future. He said :-

“He knows what he can do and he loves football.

“But he remains himself. And with his beautiful smile, he can laugh everything away.

“If he works hard and makes the right choices, Ryan has the potential to become a world star.”

His former boss at Bayern Munich Julian Nagelsmann also praised the midfielder and said :-

“I’ve told him that he is going to be one of the best midfielders in the world one day.

“And I’m committed to that. He just has to adjust a few things, and he will do that.”

Last season, Gravenberch lacked game-time for the German outfit. However, Liverpool will try to engage him in regular first-team football this season.
