Formula 1 returns to Austin and the Circuit of The Americas for round 19 of the 2022 F1 season. Here is how the weather would play at the 2022 United States GP.

After a wild weather ride in Japan, F1 is set for another calm weekend here at COTA.

Max Verstappen secured his 2nd World Title in a row at Suzuka. Now, his team Red Bull will be aiming to clinch their first-ever constructor title since 2013. Red Bull has a strong chance of clinching the constructor title at COTA and putting their rival Ferrari out of contention mathematically.

Furthermore, Red Bull and Verstappen were the last-time winners here in Austin.

For the weather side, the weekend will be dry and clear throughout.

Friday, 21st October 2022

As the cars hit the track for the first time during FP1 and FP2 on Friday the winds will be moving northernly with gusts coming in at 20-30 kph.
The conditions will be hot and sunny throughout with the maximum temperature reaching 30 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature would be close to 15 degrees Celsius with a 0% chance of rain.

Saturday, 22nd October 2022

Conditions are expected to be similar as the cars finish the final free practice on Saturday and lineup for the Qualifying – hot and sunny with winds moving in the northeastern direction.
Maximum and minimum temperatures also close in on the same range as Friday with nil chances of rain.

Sunday, 23rd October 2022

Weather conditions will remain pleasant as lights go out in COTA at 1400 hours local time. The wind gusts however are expected to increase to 40-50 kph.
Maximum temperature will remain close to 30 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature is expected to be around 17 degrees Celsius with zero chances of rain.
