Arsenal midfielder Martin Odegaard spoke to the media in Washington DC and he excited to see USMNT international Florian Balogun in pre-season.
Balogun changed his international allegiance from England to United States recently. He has already scored a goal for the National team and fans in America love him.
The 22-year-old might be sold in summer but manager Mikel Arteta is expected to give him an opportunity in front on his home fans in the pre-season games. Arsenal skipper Martin Odegaard claimed yesterday that he is excited to see Balogun and the Norwegian is excited to see him play.
Balogun came from Arsenal youth ranks and he was always viewed as an exceptional talent.
In 2022, he went out on loan to Middlesbrough but it was his spell at Stade Reims that made him a household name. Balogun manage to deliver 22 goals for the French Outfit last term.
Arsenal fans are now excited to give Balogun one opportunity to impress them in the Upcoming campaign. Skipper Martin Odegaard who has seen him in the training over the last couple of weeks, says he’s excited to see him play too. The Norwegian said in the Hayters TV :-
“Just happy to see him do well. Last year in France, he had a great season.
“He’s a big talent, the boy works hard, very hungry to improve all the time. Yeah, just happy for him and excited to see him again in the games now. Hopefully, he can do well and score some goals.”
