Neville praised Allison’s performance against Brighton

Former United Gary Neville praised Liverpool Goalkeeper Allison Becker for his brilliant display against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.

Speaking on his own Podcast, Neville suggest Brazilian shot-stopper plays am important role of Jurgen Klopp’s team. The pundit also claims that Allison will keep Liverpool in the title race this season.

Liverpool ended match in a 2:2 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on Sunday. Neville praised the Goalkeeper and said :-

“They have got an outstanding goalkeeper, Liverpool, that I always think to be fair will keep them in a lot of football matches.”

The Brazillian has been in sensational form for the Mersyside club lately. However, he could have done better to stop the first goal as Somon Adingra’s long range effort ended up in back of the net.

But Allison made brilliant comeback in the second-half as he stopped a brilliant shot to pave away the danger. Adingra came very close to scoring another goal but the Brazilian stopped it.

Former Reds Jamie Carragher is highly impressed with Allison’s performance . He told Sky Sports :-

“Brilliant goalkeeping, brilliant from Adingra, and again on that far side, Andy Robertson just switched off.

“His goalkeeper comes to his rescue. Brilliant from Adingra, he’s been fantastic when he’s played at times this season. And Alisson is as good as anyone in world football in those situations.

Despite his mistake in the first-half, Allison gave his everything to save day for Liverpool. But honestly, he would be disappointed to make such a mistake.

Liverpool were poor in the first 45 minutes, but they showcased their real form as Mohamed Salah scored a brace to bring them back in the game.
