Pundit Clinton Morrison claims he didn’t expect midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai to be this good for Liverpool in this current campaign.
The Hungarian International joined the Mersyside club for £60 million from German outfit RB Liepzig. Since joining Liverpool, Szoboszlai has been in top form as he won applause from all around the world.
Liverpool are unbeaten across all competitions in this campaign. Reds have been struggled to find their rhythm last season and hence they changed their midfield completely in the summer transfer window.
Due to the changes in midfield, Reds have looked a completely different side this season. They have been much better at middle of the park and most of the impact made by Dominik Szoboszlai.
Speaking on Premier League Productions, Pundit Clinton Morrison is suprised how the Hungarian international is dominating the Premier League in his debut season. He said :-
“Which player has surprised you the most so far this season?
“Szoboszlai of Liverpool. The reason I say him is because when they signed him I didn’t know a lot about him, but he has been outstanding in that midfield. Edouard is a good shout as well.
“He has surprised me in a good way. I think he’s a top, top player, I didn’t know he was that good, but he’s come into the midfield and adjusted straight away, a brilliant signing.”
Szoboszlai has taken the entire Premier League by suprise due to his excellency game reading quality. His movement and passing range has been best in the league this season.
Various English clubs were interested in signing him this summer, but Liverpool acted fast to secure his services.
