Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith-Rowe looks be in good-shape and has been training better than ever, claims journalist Kaya Kaynak.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Kaynak shared some update about Smith-Rowe. The midfielder has been brilliant in the training sessions recently and the journalist has heard only positive things about him.
Smith-Rowe lacked proper game-time is last few seasons, but he is doing all he can to earn a staring spot in this Arsenal side.
Kaynak shared what he knows about Emile Smith-Rowe :-
“He’s been doing really well on the training ground. The stats I hear are really impressive. All the reports are that he’s training better than he ever has been before. You can see in pictures he looks leaner and more bulky. He’s taken the time to work on his fitness. I’ve seen suggestions that his attitude isn’t right, but that’s not what I’ve heard, he’s come back really determined to win this Arsenal starting spot back.”
Kaynak also claims that Smith-Rowe has been playing with an injury for last five years. But after having surgery a few months ago, it looks like the issue has been resolved now. He further stated :-
“Basically Smith Rowe got this injury that has been causing his pain as a teen. He’s now 22, this was since he was about 17, when he first broke into the Arsenal team, around that time, he got this groin injury and he’s been playing with pain ever since that point. The decision was taken for him to have surgery, and in the long-run it has worked, but it did mean he was out for five months.”
So we’ve to all keep our eyes on Smith-Rowe next season. Don’t be surprised if he has a big season for Gunners.
