Alexis Sanchez has expressed displeasure at his lack of game time at Inter in a now-taken-down Instagram post.
The former Arsenal and Manchester United man has only registered 70 minutes of game time in the 2021-22 season. On one occasion he was even not named in the starting lineup by Simone Inzaghi.
The forward is seemingly not part of Inzaghi’s plans going ahead. Sanchez made the post after the Nerazzurri’s tie with Sassuolo over the weekend. He hit out at the club for his lack of playing time, having been an unused substitute.
Alexis Sanchez heading for an exit?
Inter Milan are reportedly looking to offload Sanchez and his hefty wages. The forward appears to have taken to social media to vent his frustration, albeit briefly.
Sanchez uploaded an image of a dusty Lamborghini to Instagram. The caption read: “Realise that you can be worth a lot, but if you are in the wrong place, you are not going to shine.“
The post has since been taken down. Presently, sentiments between Alexis Sanchez and the Nerazzurri appear to be strained as he seeks an exit route from Milan.
The Chilean is unhappy with his current situation. However, it is unlikely that things will change much as Inzaghi does not see him as a regular starter for the club.
Sanchez is currently out on international duty. But when he returns, his situation with the club will continue as it is.
With Sanchez asking for a more central role and the club willing to sell him given his substantial wages, an exit during the January transfer window could be on the cards.
The 32-year-old has managed a respectable haul of 7 goals with 7 assists from 30 games last term.
