There are very concert reports that Chelsea are very close on making a deal with the Spanish club Villarreal for their goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen.
Fabrizio Romano has also reported that Chelsea and Villarreal are very close almost in the final stages of negotiations for the goalkeeper and to sign him in this summer transfer window as soon as possible.
Chelsea are currently in talks with Villarreal and have an upper hand in the deal as the Blues have already agreed personal terms with the Goalkeeper and the player is ready to join the Blues, despite he signed a new contract with Villarreal last month.
The Blues have agreed on a deal in order to sign the 22 year old goalkeeper from Villarreal and it is rumored to be around £20 million price tag of the player.
Chelsea could not stop themselves to sign the new goalkeeper
The Villarreal goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen already has a £38 million release clause in his contract which he recently signed but the Blues have managed to make a deal with the club and the player with a less price than the release clause. We have to say it is a very great deal both the club and the player.
It is no secret that Chelsea needed a new goalkeeper because of the recent reports Kepa does not want to return to London and the Blues needed have competition for their number one goalkeeping position. Another reason is that Robert Sanchez, the goalkeeper they bought from Brighton have been unable to impress the Chelsea board and there might be a case where they might sell him in this transfer window if they get a better offer.
There are some reports that claims, Chelsea are looking to sell one of their goalkeeper in this summer transfer window as they does not requires too many goalkeeper and they also forced to sell the players in order to keep themselves under Financial Fair Play rules.
On the other side, Kepa Arrizabalaga has showed strong interest in not returning back at the club, he wants to leave the club as soon as possible, according to the reports, he needs some game time and that is not possible in Chelsea, he did not got any game time last season till he was at the club before moving to Real Madrid on loan. Because of this situation, the signing of the 22 year old goalkeeper has increased a lot.

The 22 year old goalkeeper Jorgensen had shown his quality in the last few season, the Swedish-born Dane could play a key part at the club specially when no one knows who will be the first goalkeeper of Chelsea.
It was not just the Blues who wanted to sign the player, other Premier League clubs like Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City where also the other clubs who were keeping tabs on the player and was interest to sign him in the future.
It was an easy task for Chelsea to deal with Villarreal in order to sign the goalkeeper as they have made deals with the Spanish club before, it was at the time when they signed Nicolas Jackson, he used to play for the Spanish club before moving to London, the good relationship between both the clubs made this happen where the Blues signed the player at a very cheap price.
A lot of journalist have told that it will be difficult for Chelsea to sell some of their players specially Sanchez, he was the number one goalkeeper for the Blues last season, but now they are looking to sell him and teams are not interest to buy the player as they think the player haven’t showed what he can really do as he injured last season for a lot of games.
