Arsenal beats Manchester United by 2-1 in Pre-season friendlies

Arsenal fans are on cloud nine right now, as the club just completed the move of the Italian defender Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna. But apart from that Arsenal fans are also delighted with their recent result against Manchester United by 2-1. Arsenal were playing their second Pre-season friendlies while Manchester United was on the third match in their Pre-season friendlies.

United striker Rasmus Hojlund gave a perfect start to the Red Devils, after scoring the opener within 10 minutes. In the 10th minute of the game, Marcus Rashford’s first-time pass found Rasmus Hojlund, who won a one-on-one battle with defender Ayden Heaven and scored the opener in the match. Although Rasmus gave the United a perfect star, the Denmark international was stuffed off in the 16th minute after an injury.

But Arsenal were able to come back in the match after their Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus scored a tap-in to make it 1-1 for the Gunners. Well, after the goal of Arsenal, Manchester United hit another setback as their new signing defender Leny Yoro was also stuffed off because of injury. So, two of United’s first-team players are out of the squad because of injuries. The Premier League is just three weeks away, and this is a huge blow for the Red Devils.

Manchester United ended up losing the game to Arsenal after substitute Gabriel Martinelli scored the winning goal for the Gunners in the 81st minute to win the match for Arsenal. Mikel Arteta is delighted with his team’s performance. But it was not a good day for the Red Devils as their two main players are out right now because of Injury. Eric Ten Hag told to the MUTV that United fans have to wait 24 hours to find out the situation for the players.

Arsenal will meet Liverpool in their Pre-season friendlies. Manchester United will play their next match with Spanish side Real Betis. Mikel Arteta will start their Premier League campaign against Wolves. And Eric Ten Hag’s side will face Fulham in their Premier League’s first matchday. Ten Hag is determined to change the scenario, after their worst finish in the last season in the Club’s history. Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta will be looking for the title after finishing second position in the second successive season.
