Arsenal is aware of the rise in demand for the Spaniard. Thus, they are also making inquiries about Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimarães. However, Martin Zubimendi is more susceptible to fitting in at Arsenal, as he perfectly balances with what Declan Rice has to offer. Senior correspondent of Football Insider Pete O’Rourke said,

Honestly, the ball is in Zubimendi’s court. He is a one-club man who loves his Spanish roots and his boyhood club. Martin Zubimendi has been at Real Sociedad since 2011, and he is living his dream. Although immense opportunities lie ahead of him, there is no doubt that he has rejected multiple big offers previously. Even though Mikel Arteta is a big fan of the Spaniard, it will be difficult to land him in London. Partey still has one year left on his contract, and between those two dates, the Arsenal boss has to make a swift transition. The race will be difficult to land Zubimendi, but Edu Gaspar and the board will leave no stone unturned to get the deal done. However, for personal growth, Martin Zubimendi should make a move, be it for Arsenal or Bayern.
