August will determine Chelsea’s Champions League dreams from the very beginning. The three London derbies will not be easy. They require concentration, grit, and first-class implementation. But with Maresca’s master plan and a good number of world-class signings for the team, the Blues might have built a good team.
Picking up points against Palace, West Ham, and Fulham might help Chelsea into top‑four spot at the beginning. But any drop in form could leave them facing big questions over squad depth and defensive strength. If Maresca can play his new superstars intelligently and keep the backline organized, this tough August might be very good for them. Chelsea supporters will be excited to see how their team performs.
