Chelsea might hire 56-year old manager in case they sack Mauricio Pochettino

Chelsea may be looking forward to sign 56-year old Massimiliano Allegri if they sack Mauricio Pochettino. It is reported that Chelsea management is not happy with Mauricio. According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the Blues can turn their attention to Allegri if they decide to sack the Argentine manager. Although, Chelsea are looking way better than previous season, their position in the league can be a suggestion for this. Those who have seen Chelsea playing against Tottenham and Manchester City know that how Pochettino has improved the squad.

However, the talks of a change in managerial role are still going on. There are still claims that Mauricio is currently under performance pressure. Moreover, he also served a one-game ban against Newcastle after picking up three yellow cards in the Premier League this season. He will definitely be disappointed with the performance of his men at St James Park. The Magpies crushed the Blues by 4-1, their worst performance so far in this campaign.

Now, when the talks about a potential sacking is raging, there are few names emerging as replacement. Massimiliano Allegri is the name among there who can be a long-term replacement. He has recently declined a deal for his continuation with Italian giants, Juventus. Though, it is not the first time Chelsea are firing their coach. Frank Lampard, Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter have all been a victim of termination. The owners at Stamford Bridge must stick to their words and give Mauricio to develop good relations and understanding with a relatively younger squad.
