Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix is linked with top clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea. The 23-year-old had told his agent that he wishes to leave the club in January. Many clubs are apparently lining up to sign the star player. According to reports from Fichajes, Premier League clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea are both very interested to sign the player. The Portuguese had joined Atletico Madrid from Benfica in 2019. His performances have been underwhelming for the Spanish club and it is reported that the La Liga giants plan on cashing in on the player.

Manchester United and Chelsea to bid for the Portuguese player

Despite his underwhelming performance with 3 goals this season so far, the youngster is still a talent who is rated very highly all across Europe. Manchester United had submitted a potential bid at the start of the season, they might look to try and ignite that interest again. Reports claim that Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag really likes the Portugal player and wants to bring him to Old Trafford to boost his attacking options. Meanwhile, Chelsea are in dire need of new attacking players. Chelsea have struggled to score goals this season and they will be looking to sign players who could change that.
