The Blues had a very unexpected season after a span of more than 3 years. Since the arrival of boss Enzo Maresca last season the Blues came back into the game slowly with time. After facing some setbacks in the first half the Blues performed quite well in the second half of the season. Under Enzo Maresca’s system, Chelsea have shown their improvements in attacking spheres, pressing, and a proper playing structure. Despite some upsets in the first half, Chelsea secured their UEFA Champions League qualification with a top-five PL finish after more than 3 years. They were also able to secure a major trophy after their last Champions League win against Manchester City in 2021. By winning the UEFA Europa Conference League by beating Real Betis in the finals. This season saw the rise of many young players of the squad coming into the main spotlight for the team.
8. Reece James for Chelsea:
In the list of top performers in the squad for Chelsea. The name of their leader Reece James in the squad cannot be missed. Considerably the most experienced player in the squad in this young team. This season the captain made a comeback from a spell of injuries and avoided any major injuries and stayed fit. He was a regular face in the second half of the season in his primary wing-back position. He was able to provide crucial movement and assists for his team against big names.
7. Pedro Neto for Chelsea:
Coming from Wolves in the PL his first season at the Blues was an impressive one. Particularly his attacking threat in the front his speed was a major weapon for the Blues. This season was also his highest goal-scoring season in his career. He played a big role in the absence of Nicholas Jackson also played as a striker for the Blues.
6. Noni Madueke for Chelsea:
Despite being inconsistent through games but when in form he can trouble the best defenses of the world. Taking the primary position of playing as a right winger for the Blues, Madueke was also unstoppable in the latter part of the season for the Blues. But the player was lacking in terms of finishing for the team at times. However, the recent rumors state the player is moving to the Gunners for the next season.
5. Levi Colwill:
The academy player for the player was undoubtedly the best centre-back for Chelsea this season. Present in every critical moment the team’s defense faced and stood strong against any opponent. Still a young age of 22 he has still lot to experience but he can be a long-term asset for Chelsea if he can continue this type of gameplay for the years to come.
4. Enzo Fernandez:
This season Enzo was one of the Chelsea players to consistently play without making any errors in his game. Helping his team both in terms of defense, killing the opponent’s attacking chances, and in attack, scoring goals at the front for the team. The Argentine was everywhere and led the team in the absence of Reece James.
3. Marc Cucurella:
Cucurella showed this season why he is the best in that position, throwing off any doubts on his capability to play the game. Another strong performer who was consistent on the pitch for Chelsea in the left-back position. Standing as a rock to stop any chances for the opponent wingers and also scored five goals for the team.
2. Moises Caicedo:
After a heavy price target, he silenced all his critics this season. Coming and transforming himself into one of the best midfielders of the game which Chelsea lacked for many years and searching. But Caicedo is now the best one to fill the spot for Chelsea. With total control over the midfield and providing support to both the attacking and defensive players of the team.

Undoubtedly, the player of the season for Chelsea should be Cole Palmer. He faced just a little dip in performance but he was back with his match-winning performances every time the Blues counted on him. One of his heroics came at the UEFA Europa Conference League Final against Real Betis. He remained the Blues’ most important and talented attacking player again this season also.
