The decision to reject offers from Manchester City and Chelsea last year shows the club’s trust in him. He signed a long-term professional contract in 2024. Also, he was given the Number 21 shirt this summer. That number was previously worn by key midfielders. Thus, this is showing the big trust the club has in him.

Author’s Opinion

Arsenal team is more competitive than ever. But that does not mean there is no space for brilliance especially when it comes in the form of a homegrown top talent. Ethan may not be getting time but in future he will be a key player for Gunner Team. He has the talent and he is impressing everyone by doing good in training and taking every opportunity on the pitch.

If Arsenal manage his development carefully, Ethan could follow in the footsteps of top players and become the club’s next golden boy. Expect chances to come in future but don’t be surprised if, by 2026, Ethan Nwaneri is starting key games for Arsenal.

Therefore, it will be Interesting to see Ethan playing this year. Will he make a spot in the first team? Will Arteta develop him into a top player soon?
