Liverpool is on the verge of making a bid for Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia. And the move has gained significant attention from top Premier League clubs such as Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea.

Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, speaking to Redmen TV, disclosed that Liverpool is preparing to submit a bid to Southampton in the very near future.
He stated (quotes via Dave Ockop): “If it is not this week, it will be next week. This is something that holds real substance.”
Furthermore, the Daily Mail reported that Southampton has received an inquiry from Liverpool regarding a potential £50 million transfer to Merseyside.
Simultaneously, the Daily Mirror suggests that Arsenal is also considering a move for the talented Belgian midfielder, with a reported £40 million bid in the works.
However, Arsenal’s current focus lies on securing a £105 million deal for Declan Rice, which could leave the path clear for Liverpool to secure Lavia’s signature.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano commented on Arsenal’s interest, stating that it largely depends on the future of Thomas Partey.
During a YouTube segment, Romano mentioned, “Romeo Lavia is on Arsenal’s radar. And they have engaged in positive discussions with the club and the player. However, no official bid has been made as they are waiting to understand Thomas Partey’s situation.”
“Nevertheless, Liverpool has initiated talks to sign Lavia. Manchester United and Chelsea have inquired about the player, but neither club has taken concrete steps. For Liverpool, Lavia ranks high on their list of potential signings.”
