Liverpool are ready to gain some from its old player in this transfer window if Chelsea is ready to sign 26 year old Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke. Chelsea are interested to trigger the release clause of the player.

The 26 year old striker joined Bournemouth from Liverpool back in 2019 for a price of 19 million and since joining the club he has become one of the best striker in england.

But even after giving back to back best performances every season still Gareth Southgate did not picked him for Euro 2024 in the squad. He scored 19 Premier league goals last season which is a great number for a striker like him. His performance have gains attention from some big clubs like Chelsea.

In his Bournemouth contract there is a release clause of around 65 million which can only be activated by only some clubs and Liverpool are entitled to 20 percent of any profits that Bournemouth receives after selling the striker.

If any team buys the striker for a amount of 65 million then the profit gained by Bournemouth will be around 46 million which means liverpool will get a profit of around 9 million. Only if Chelsea signs the player at his release clause amount.

Chelsea is looking to buy a new young striker for this seaso

Chelsea are very eager and determined to get new striker this summer as they are looking to improve their squad. Other than Solanke the blues are keeping an eye on Samu Omorodion of Atletico madrid and they are also keeping an eye on Aston villa’s Jhon Duran both of them are in consideration.

Before Liverpool Solanke used to play for Chelsea till 2017. In the same year he joined Liverpool for around 3 million as a compensation fee.

The english striker failed to make a senior appearance at Stamford Bridge despite being the academy graduate. He only played one game for the club before leaving the club.

Not just at Chelsea but it also did not work out for him at Liverpool either. He played 27 games for the reds and only scored one goal for them.

But good thing is that he was on the bench for the Champions League final when reds lost the final to Real madrid.

After his spell at Liverpool, he joined Bournemouth the club where he showed his true talent and showed everyone that he is one of the best striker in England. He scored 29 goals in 46 championship games and his goal contribution helped the club to gain the promotion back in 2021/22 season and in the last season was his best season of all time where he showed the big clubs that he the striker they need.

He signed a new contract with Bournemouth in 2023, which puts him at the club till 2027. This gives Bournemouth gave an advantage to ask the clubs to sign the player from his release clause amount.

This helps them gain a large amount of profit that can help the club to focus on other aspects and can also boost them financially.

There are reports that says only the top English clubs and teams who are competing in the Champions League can only have the rights to activate the release clause.

The clubs also welcomed to negotiate the terms but it believed that Bournemouth will ask for more money then the release clause.

For now Chelsea is the only club who seems interested to sign the player and Liverpool will be hoping that someone might activate the release clause.
