As per reports, Man Utd is ready to push hard for a player they feel can lift their entire midfield. Word from Spain says Man Utd are lining up a deal worth £105m for Fede Valverde. The PL side sees a rare chance to grab him entering his prime. He is someone with the drive and stamina that fits the fast tempo they want to play.
At the same time, noise coming out of Real Madrid hints at a growing storm. Valverde’s role has been changed this campaign and it isn’t working out for him. As he has been forced to play as a right-back for several games because of many injuries. That has limited his performance as a player of full abilities.
