Former Chelsea player Frank Leboeuf is having doubts for 22-year old Chelsea man Armando Broja. The Albanian International has recently found the net against Fulham last Monday. Though, Leboeuf stated on ESPN FC that he is not fully convinced by the striker yet. Broja was unable to continue his striking form against Burnley like Fulham. However, Chelsea were still able to emerge victorious. Courtesy to goals by Palmer, Sterling, Nicolas Jackson and Al-Dakhil, Chelsea won 4-1 at Turf Moor.

Although, Pochettino has shown much belief in the 22-year old yet Leboeuf has doubts for the young man. Speaking about Chelsea and their forward options, he said,

“I pray for Christopher Nkunku to come back very, very soon because Broja, I’m not convinced yet. And he comes back from injury, so it takes time.”

“Jackson, yeah, he’s getting better. But what I saw from Nkunku for several years, that will make a frontline very competitive.”

Considering the fact that Broja has just returned from an injury, he still has shown good character in the games he has played till now. Nevertheless, Leboeuf is making a valid argument. The Albanian has been out for so long from senior football. Considering the place where Chelsea are trying to get, they need some proven quality. It is yet not the case with Broja or even Jackson. Therefore, it will be no much of a surprise if Chelsea goes for someone like Ivan Toney in January window.

Till then, Broja and Jackson have a great chance to prove their worth that they can be the no.9 the Blues are looking for in order to regain their lost glory.
