Gabriel Jesus will just get better with time – Adrian Clarke

Jesus

Pundit Adrian Clarke claims Gabriel Jesus will just get better with time as the Brazillian has returned from injury like a man possessed this season.

The 26-year-old is playing at his top form currently for North-London club. Jesus has made a fantastic transition is last few campaigns as Arteta has been deploying him with full confidence.

The Brazilian spend most of the time as a second fiddle striker under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City. However, under Mikel Arteta, he is main frontman at Arsenal currently.

Speaking on the Handbrake Off Podcast, Pundit Adrian Clarke has noticed some changes in Jesus. He claims that with time, Jesus will only get better.

Clarke also states that Jesus can become a “special striker”, if he continues his progress in right direction. The pundit said :-

“No, I don’t think many of the players are at their peaks yet. Including Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegaard. They are coming into their prime. With Jesus, remember he was often a substitute and never the main man at Manchester City.

“Once he stays fit and establishes himself as our main man up top, I can only see him getting better and better. When Jesus plays with that level of swagger, he is arguably the hardest player to mark of any Premier League player. It’s going to be hard to keep up that level, but if he can, we have a very special striker.”

There was lot of rumour that Arsenal might sign a new striker in the summer transfer window to will be more lethal in front to goal. However, Gabriel Jesus has put that argument into bed.
