A viral footage of a man driving an F2 car with a Ferrari livery on a motorway in the Czech Republic has surfaced.

The video appeared to be shot at the two-lane D4 motorway which connects the capital city Prague to Germany.

It’s illegal to drive such cars in the Czech Republic and right now police are looking for the person driving the car. A similar incident occurred back in 2019.

Other drivers on the road have filmed the incident. Videos show the open-wheel car overtaking and zooming past the other cars.

As these open-wheel cars with their sleek designs can reach speeds of 200 mph, it is no surprise that they are banned on the roads. Nevertheless, the rules were not enough to stop this notorious driver to take his F2 car for a stroll.

Since the driver was wearing a helmet, it has become difficult for the police to track down the individual.

Moreover, it’s not the first time the drivers had to see an F2 car driving alongside a highway.

Earlier, in 2019 the same F2 car was spotted driving on the same highway. The police had found a suspect but the person refused all the charges.

If found guilty, the accused person can undergo a fine and probably a one-year road ban. Again, the driver was wearing a helmet, making it difficult for the police to actually prove someone guilty.

People have mixed opinions on the incident. While some are calling the driver of the F2 car their ‘hero’, some are demanding the driver’s license be revoked.
