Manchester United are still reportedly interested in signing young forward Benjamin Sesko. However, there is still a valuation gap between the club.
Although, negotiations continue between the clubs. Red Bull Salzburg are also reluctant to let Sesko go this summer. They want him to stay.

According to reports, Manchester United are going to bid again for forward Benjamin Sesko. He is currently playing for Red Bull Salzburg. However, his performances have impressed everyone at Old Trafford. The Red Devils are also looking to bolster their attacking options this summer. Chelsea are also monitoring his situation.

However, the problem for both the clubs is his valuation. Red Bull Salzburg are asking £50m fee for his services. The Slovenian is impressing at the club despite being just 19. Hence, the Red Devils are keen to sign him for the present and future. He has already scored 2 goals in 3 games for Salzburg. However, it will be interesting to see whether United will spend on the young forward.
THE RED DEVILS HAD A CHANCE TO SIGN HIM FOR A MUCH LOWER FEE
Football is littered with stories of clubs tracking players of unknown quality. However, when their stock increases, these clubs regret not signing them. Well, Sesko and Manchester United are not a different story. According to Athletic, the Red Devils had the chance to sign Sesko to get him for only £2.5m when he was at Domzale. However, United decided to reject the opportunity.
They thought the fee was too expensive for a 16-year-old Sesko at that time. However, they will now have to spend 50m for his signature. Another concern for the fans is the club might not sign him again. The Red Devils are currently trying to convince Frenkie De Jong to sign for the club. However, the Dutch midfielder does not want to leave Barcelona.
United are currently also trying to convince legend forward Cristiano Ronaldo to stay at the club. However, there are chances he might not play the season. There are also suggestions Erik Ten Hag will use Marcus Rashford and Antony Elanga for the forward role till Martial recovers from his injury.
