Rio Ferdinand is surprised to see that no other club tried to sign £55 million Jeremy Doku. Manchester City signed the talented Belgian in the recent summer window. Speaking on FIVE magazine’s official Youtube channel, Rio had his words on Doku. The United legend cannot hide his surprise at the fact that City have a clear run for Doku in the window. Owing to his surprise, he adds;
“I’m just surprised that he wasn’t taken by anybody else. I am, genuinely because I said that the raw materials he has, you’d think he would be a no-brainer for anybody. He’s got the personality, you can tell from his interviews only. His personality, his character’s there.”
Moreover, after his performance in a 3-1 victory of City over West Ham, Pep admits that he is really impressed that the young lad took no time in settling his boots at the Etihad Stadium.

Certainly, Rio has a point of how easily City finds it to seal the deal for the Belgian. The Premier League champions will be delighted to have the flair and showboating of the Belgian in the squad.
