Chelsea are looking for a potential swap deal for Tammy Abraham and Romelu Lukaku. The wheels of transfer news is turning in the background. However, it is not sure whether the deal will take place in January or next summer window. Regardless of this, Chelsea are pushing hard and get the loan deal of Lukaku to become a permanent one.

Lukaku has been scoring goals for the Roman club since his move this summer. The Belgian has netted three goals in last two games and became Man of the Match against Torino and FC Sheriff as per WhoScored. Its almost certain that Lukaku has locked the doors at Chelsea and does not have any career there in future. As a result, Mauricio Pochettino is taking a notice for the potential swap deal.

According to Graeme Bailey, there remains a possibility of a swap deal with former Blues star, Tammy Abraham. The Englishman is currently out due to injury. However, even after his return, it is certain that Jose Mourinho will stick to the Belgian striker as first choice if he continues the form. Abraham is likely to ask for more minutes, which might not be the scenario at Roma. It is likely that a switch back to the Premier League is possible for the Englishman at Stamford Bridge. Even Chelsea are in need of a striker with goal scoring ability. This could be a perfect timing for both, club and the player to unite their ways.
