Chelsea forward has great potential according to BBC pundit

BBC pundit believes Chelsea forward has great potential. Chelsea have a very disappointing season on ninth place in the table. Hopes for European football are looking slim and they missed out on Carabao Cup. However even in this trophyless season there have been some positives. Some players in the squad are playing well and deserves to be mentioned.

One such player is Nicolas Jackson according to a BBC pundit. The BBC Sport pundit said: “I have watched Nicolas Jackson this season and he’s missed opportunity after opportunity. Then, he has scored a few goals and has been a threat. Against Manchester City, when the ball was spun in behind I thought ‘now I’ve seen what he is about. That was when I realized he wants space to spin into and find good areas. I thought he was a threat all game.”

He continued by saying- “He is going to get better. I just also think a team that is not always doing too well does not help a player trying to be the focal point at the top of the pitch. There is a lot of room for improvement but we have seen some signs of the talent that is expected.” These were some strong words for the youngster.

High Expectations from Chelsea forwards next season?

Even though Cole Palmer stole the spotlight this season we cannot rule out other players. Chelsea have great players like Jackson, Mudryk, Madueke, Gallagher. It will be a big challenge for Pochettino to develop these young players next season. Jackson hasn’t had the best of the seasons but has shown signs of improvement and spark of talent.

If he has a strong pre-season and training before the start of the 2024/25 season, he can be really big asset for Chelsea next season.
