AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho makes a suprise demand as he wants to sign England international Jadon Sancho from Manchester United.

According to Italian outlet Il Romanista, the Portuguese have Sancho on his transfer list for January transfer window. The 23-year-old is currently exiled at Manchester United as manager Eric Ten Hag issues ultimatum to him.

Speaking after the defeat at Emirates, Ten Hag stated that Sancho is missing from the teamsheet due to his poor attitude in the training. He said :-

“Jadon, (it was) on his performance in training we didn’t select him.

“You have to reach the level every day at Manchester United, you can make choices in the front line. So in this game he wasn’t selected.”

Sancho started in the first three fixtures for Reds Devils but then he was dropped against Arsenal. He posted on social media claiming that allegations were wrong and he was used a scapegoat by the manager.

Hence, he is now suspended from the club and as per reports from Italy, he will leave the club in January. The forward is not keen on finding solution with Ten Hag.

Two times Champions League winning manager Jose Mourinho is now keen on signing Sancho, but his wage can be road block for the Italian outfit. Roma use to same transfer tactics used on Romelo Lukaku, who joined club after taking huge pay cut.

Sancho will hope join club under Jose Mourinho, who’s records speaks for himself. Roma might also try for loan deal in January, but United might not be intrested in it.

Sancho’s arrival is only possible, if he takes major pay cut in this January.
