Andy Robertson receives praise from allies and foes alike

Liverpool‘s Andy Robertson gained quite the fan attraction with his recent performance, with many colleagues giving praise to his skill.

Liverpool recently secured a 3-1 victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers with one of the goals bearing Robertson’s name, the new captain.

The defender has made a name for himself during his time with the Reds, which is a 6 year commitment. Leading him to rise from a £10 to £40 million player, not to mention his involvement in the manager’s plans. Indeed, Robertson has started in every game of this Premier League season, without making a single substitution or leave.

Robertson teammates praise the player

Jordan Henderson, Liverpool’s former captain, praised the defender’s recent display of skills against the Wolves. The former captain recently referenced the match in one of his Instagram, where he congratulated his Robertson for his performance.

Many fans viewed the act as a form of passing of the torch from the old captain to the next. As it is confirmed that Henderson is leaving the club to Saudi Arabia side Al-Ettifaq, a void that Robertson filled. The fans received the gesture very positively as it showed the former captain’s affection to the team despite the move.

Aston Villa‘s midfielder John McGinn recently played alongside the defender for the Scottish national team who left an impression.

multiple players recently commented on what their favourite footballer is in regards to his legs, body and of course, head.

McGinn claimed Robertson as his body pick explaining that he can “run all day” despite his lack of apparent bulk.

And while not everyone knows his name, it is easy to see that Robertson has earned the respect of many.
