Gary Neville decides Liverpool’s fate in the upcoming campaign

Liverpool

United legend Gary Neville decides Liverpool’s fate as he predicts that they’ll finish in the top-four in the upcoming Premier League campaign.

Speaking on The Overlap, Neville suggests that Reds could finish in the top-four of the Premier League table next season ahead of Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur. However, he also admits that Liverpool are far away for challenging the title.

Discussing about the chances of his rival club’s chance next season. He said :-

“I don’t look at Liverpool at the moment and think ‘wow’ they are going to be challenging Arsenal or City for the league.”

Neville also predicted the top-8 teams next season :-

“I think Arsenal, City, Man United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Villa, Newcastle and Tottenham.”

Some may not agree, but Gary Neville is speaking the truth

It will always be tough for club supporters to agree with a ex rival team player, especially when it is Gary Neville. However, he has just spoken the truth which some of us might not want to hear.

As per current form, Manchester City and Arsenal are the top 2 teams in the English top-flight currently. Although, Liverpool could shift gears this season, if they bring proper reinforcement this summer.

Reds already bought Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai in this transfer window to reshape their midfield this season. They still need a defensive midfielder and hence Romeo Lavia in under their radar for a long time now.

Frankly speaking, on their good days, Liverpool can beat any team in the Premier League without any hesitation. After missing out on Champions League Football last term, manager Jurgen Klopp will be eager to get back in the top-4 again.
