Since India has shown poor performances in the knockout matches of world cups before. Supporters expect better from team India this time. Thus the bad form of Ishan Kishan tensed people but Kishan showed some positive signs by the end of the IPL 2021.

A couple of weeks before Kishan was in poor form. But after the last match of Mumbai Indians against RCB, he has changed things around. And Ishan Kishan scored two consecutive fifties after that. In the last match, Kishan smashed 82 runs off just 32 balls. He was the star of that night. And Mumbai Indians won the match.

Kishan said “I would love to open” to which Virat said

‘you are selected as an opener, you just have to be prepared for that.’ In the bigger stage, you need to be prepared for every situation I feel.”

Since he played amazing knocks before the tournament ended. Kishan was happy that he finally scored some runs before heading towards playing the T20 world cup.

Although, Mumbai won their last game and registered a dominant 42-runs win. But it wasn’t enough as KKR had a better NRR than them. Thus despite securing 14 points…MI had to say goodbye. But Mumbai would like to bounce back to winning ways in the next IPL.
